About
Raised on the plains of western Oklahoma, Bryce Brimer developed a love of nature and a passion for art early in life. Comfortable in the wide open spaces of his youth, Brimer’s work often is large in scale. His love of the outdoors resonates in the organic figures and materials found in his work.
In addition to being a fine artist, he is dedicated to art education. Brimer works as an assistant professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Rogers State University where he most recently lead a group of students during a month-long study abroad trip through Italy. He has presented at several academic conferences including the 2008: Design, the Arts and the Political at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, NY.
Brimer earned a Bachelor’s in Art Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and his Master of Fine Art from the University of Tulsa. He and his wife live in Tulsa.
